Life transitions, wellness, sexual health, grief and loss, trauma, self-exploration, living with anxiety, women's issues, spirituality, religious trauma, and relationship challenges.
Whatever your journey may look like, I am honored to walk alongside you on your path.
I believe deeply in the healing power of genuine human connection and strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. I practice from an Emotion-Focused, Person-Centered, and Humanistic lens, always grounding our work together in compassion, authenticity, and respect. I am a strengths- and values-based therapist and am proud to be LGBTQIA+ affirming, welcoming and celebrating all identities and experiences. As a Certified Trauma Practitioner (CTP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained professional, I am passionate about supporting individuals in healing past wounds and moving toward a place of greater wholeness.
While much of my experience has been in working with teens and young adults, I love collaborating with individuals of all ages who are seeking deeper self-understanding, growth, and development. My PhD dissertation focused on social wellness experiences — a topic I feel incredibly passionate about and continue to weave into my work with clients today. I am wholly committed to social justice and multicultural competency, not just in my professional life but in how I strive to show up in the world every day.
I am committed to honoring your unique journey toward healing and understand that true growth is not linear — it is deeply personal and often takes different shapes and timelines for each person. I place a strong emphasis on the mind-body connection, believing that emotional and physical well-being are inextricably linked.
Beyond the therapy room, I find joy and restoration through yoga, walking in nature (especially with my dog), and tending to my many, many plants — a topic I’m always happy to chat about! I love curling up with a good psychological thriller and believe in nurturing the lighter, playful sides of life, too.
Above all, I highly value the therapeutic relationship we build together — a relationship rooted in trust, collaboration, and hope.
